The HHCA Eagles Varsity Girls Basketball is on fire and easily advanced to round two of the SCISA AA state playoffs.

Earning a 73-21 win in round one, the Eagles scored early and often as they jumped out to a 31-4 in the first quarter before extending the score to 52-11 at halftime. 

A championship title this year would mean four in a row for Head Coach Kenny Conroy and the HHCA Eagles.

In the first game of the tournament, the Eagles grabbed ten 3-pointers in a balanced attack that was led by:

• Abby Peduzzi➖18 points
• Tamya Hutchinson ➖15 points
• Jaida Grayson ➖14 points
• Skylar Smith ➖12 points
• Devon Yarde ➖7 points

HHCA takes on the winner of Greenwood Christian and Northside Christian on Monday at 5:00 PM at the Sumter Country Civic Center.
